I heard from the people at Raptor Rescue about "our" owl. He is fine. Yeah! He is a fledgling Great Horned Owl and likely fell into the pool trying to get a drink of water. They would like to reunite him with his family but, alas, I have no idea where the nest is. So I guess he will be released somewhere and be off on his own adventure. Today we are watching two hummingbirds battle over the feeder. Neither will give up. Birds are so fascinating aren't they?
